I'm happy to report that my jewelry is taking shape in my new surroundings here in Tucson. Plus, I continue to receive orders from my customers in California. Thank you!

Moving to Tucson has given me a renewed perspective on what being a jewelry artist means. I do love creating jewelry and even more, adorning the woman who appreciate my designs. It's just fun!

Don't you just love when flowers start popping up and trees begin to blossom their leaves?  Spring is the best. New beginnings, beautiful colors everywhere and the weather is near perfection.
I love making these red bud and rose leaf earrings. They go with EVERYTHING. And because they're part of the elemental world of nature, they're classic as classic can be. Mother Nature never goes out of style.

When my mother was ill and in the last days of her life, my father had bought her a gold necklace to celebrate their 50th Anniversary.
After she passed, he gave me the necklace.  Recently, I brought it out, wondering if I would ever wear it, only to realize, it wasn't my style. I contemplated taking it apart and redesigning some jewelry out of it, but then I wondered if that would be offensive to my mother. Thinking about her and if she would care, I could hear her words telling me, "Be practical." Or, maybe that's what I wanted to hear. So that's what I did, and the ring above is one of the pieces.

The design is a solid rod of gold, wrapped four times, with two diamonds on each end.
As my mother would say, "ce joile'",  "it's beautiful."

Rhinestone Button Earrings

These Rhinestone Earrings are actually buttons from a vintage sweater I bought in North Beach, San Francisco years ago. I never wore the sweater, but I love the buttons. When I was going though all my knick knacks the other day, I came across these forgotten little treasures. Rhinestones are big now in fashion. You could say they're a trend, but really they are classic as classic can be. The stone itself is about 12mm, set in a stainless steel back with prongs holding it. I bent one of the prongs and looped it through an ear wire. Voila'
Every time I wear these dazzling sparklers, compliments abound.  They go with everything, even my p.j.'s

Change is good.  So, I've change my line of jewelry. I've decided to expand my earring collection and faze out my necklaces. Hold on though, I'll still make necklaces for any one who wishes. And, I'll always turn your old, outdated or forgotten jewelry, that you may think has no life in it, into a piece, worthy of your Presence.

I'm moving to Tucson at the end of March, but I'm only a click, email or ring away from your jewelry needs. You all know me well enough, to trust that whatever it is, whether a birthday, holiday, anniversary, retirement or just plan desire, I'm your Jewelry Angel, delivering promptly and with consideration. 

I plan on returning to the Valley twice a year, during Red Bud, The Perfect Gift (Thanksgiving), and various home shows.

14g Forged Sterling Silver Bangles with Fine-Silver Heart Charms

It's been fun working with my friend and jewelry mentor, Phillip Kastner. He's helped me design a simple sterling silver bangle, that I've forged to give the design an extra lift. This design was first created in a gold bangle Phillip made with some gold I inherited from my mother. I received so many compliments, but I knew carrying a line of gold bangles wasn't possible at the time. So, I created an affordable line of sterling silver bangles.
